Chicken Wings and Penne
This is very simple dish and it can be prepared in 30 minutes made in the pan.
Ingredients:
- Chicken wings (I've used four for this recipe)
- Penne (two types, the regular ones and the ones made out of whole wheat flour)
- Gourmet seasoning - Vegeta
- Black pepper
- Garlic
- Onion
- Olive oil
- Parsley (optional)
- Ground ginger (optional)
- Tomato sauce (this is also optional if you like to add redness to your food, and it tastes good as well)
Preparation:
- Cut the garlic and the onion into small pieces.
- Put the pan on the stove and let it heat up for 2-3 minutes, after that add olive oil and let it heat up for 1-2 minutes as well.
- Put the chicken wings in the pan. You can cover the pan or not, it's personal choice, I cover it.
- Let the wings sit on one side for 3-4 minutes, then turn them on the other side. When you turn the wings on the other side add garlic and onion in the pan.
- Same as previous step just leave it like that for 3-4 minutes and then add penne into the pan.
- Mix everything up several times and then start adding water. If you like it to start boiling quickly add warm water.
- After adding the water add one little spoon of Vegeta (of if you're using regular salt,) add parsley, ground ginger, black pepper and tomato sauce. You don't need to add much tomato sauce, a little will be enough.
- Wait until the water starts to boil then turn the heat down to a medium, cover it and let it cook for 20 minutes. After twenty minutes if you see that water has evaporated just add a little more and leave it for 5 more minutes. If you don't need more water, the dish is done.
Enjoy your meal!
