Spinach and Mushrooms Soup
This was a quick recipe and it really tastes good, I would recommend everyone to try it out for yourself.
Ingredients:
- Spinach
- Mushrooms
- Onion
- Garlic
- Olive oil
- Cream (I used the one with 20% fat for this recipe)
- Gourmet seasoning (or use regular salt, or sea salt, it's optional)
- Parsley (optional)
- Take your spinach then wash it and cut it into small pieces.
- Cut the onion, garlic and mushrooms as well. Leave the gills on the mushrooms, don't remove them.
- Now take your pot and let it heat up first, then add olive oil to it and let the oil heat as well.
- When the oil is heated add onion, garlic and mushrooms to it and mix it for one minute. After one minute just add spinach to it and just mix it all once or twice and then add water to it. The reason why you don't want to add spinach all together in beginning because it can burn quickly and you don't want that. As for the water if you want it to boil quickly just add warm water, if not add cold water.
- Add gourmet seasoning or salt whatever you prefer more and have in your kitchen, add parsley and wait until it starts to boil. When it starts to boil just move the temperature down to a medium heat, put the cover on and let it cook for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes add the cream to it and leave it for 5 more minutes. After that taste to see whether you need to add more salt to it. And that it, the soup is ready.
