Trout with Potato Salad
Ingredients:
- Trout (or you can use different fish, it's up to your choice)
- Potatoes
- Onion
- Pickles
- Salt
- Olive oil and sunflower oil
- Parsley (optional)
Preparation:
- You need to have fish completely dry, use paper towels to dry it, don't wash it with water and then try to bake it.
- Take your potatoes and peel them of if they aren't young. If you have young potatoes just wash them and cut them into pieces. Do the same for the onion and pickles and leave them on the side.
- Put the potatoes in the pot and leave it for boil, 10-15 minutes would be enough, you'll know when they are cocked.
- After the potatoes are done, strain them and leave them on a plate so they can cool down.
- While potatoes are cooking, take your fish and season it with salt. I've added parsley inside of the fish and let it sit down.
- Take a electric pan if you have one, if you don't just use the regular non stick pan. You'll need a lot of oil to prepare a fish. So I use combination of olive oil and sunflower oil. Leave it to heat up and then just put the fish in. Put the heat down a little on the stove.
- Don't touch the fist for 4-5 minutes, leave it like that. Turn it over after that and let it sit like that on the other side.
- The fish it's done and leave on the side. Now take the potatoes and add onion, pickles, olive oil and salt to it and mix it with your hands.
- Take the plate and put the fish on the plate, add a potato salad and you're done.
Enjoy your meal!
