Poprskusha Pie and Eggs with Dried Meat and Sudzuk

 Ingredients:

  • Whole wheat flour (you can use regular white flour, but I use this one because it's healthier)
  • Eggs
  • Dried Meat
  • Sudzuk
  • Salt
  • Gourmet seasoning
  • Parsley
  • Milk
  • Butter
  • Olive oil and sunflower oil (you can use only one, but I've mixed them)
  • Tomatoes for salad (this is optional, choose whatever you like)

Preparation:

Pie

  • As for the pie, you first need to heat up the water, water must boil first because you need it. Take a bowl and put flour in it and add salt to it, mix it a little. When the water has boiled just a little and start mixing it with a spatula. You add a little water and mix it until you have dough that is not gooey.
  • Turn the oven at 200C (392F) and let it heat up.
  • Take a casserole and put an oil in it, I use a mix of olive and sunflower oil. I used around 2 deciliters (6.7 oz) for this one.
  • Now you're going to add dough into the casserole and with your spatula separate it into little pieces. It's very important to oil the dough completely. Separate it into small pieces and then put it back together into one piece, do this multiple times for 5-7 minutes. In the end you can just take the whole dough one press it and turn it around, role it several times.
  • Now that the last time you put it into one piece, just spread it evenly on the casserole. When you do that, just use the spoon and create marks on the dough like it is shown in the picture. You need to do that so the pie will not rise while it's baking.
  • Put it in the oven around 1 hour. Check it from time to time, depends on how thick it is, you might get it sooner or a bit later than an hour.
  • When the pie it's done, you can take like 10-15 minutes before milk and butter and heat it up, heat the milk until it starts to boil. You can add around 2 deciliters of milk, no more.
  • When the pie it's done, just take that milk and put over the pie, let it sit for a while.

Eggs

  • Take your dried meat and sudzuk and cut into small pieces. You can use ham for this if you wish.
  • Put your pan on the stove and let it heat up, when the pan is heated add an olive oil and let it heat up as well.
  • Crack your eggs into the pan, add a little gourmet seasoning, you don't want to add much because the dried meat and sudzuk contains salt, if you add much on eggs it would be too salty.
  • Add parsley, dried meat and sudzuk on top of the eggs.
  • Put the cover over it and wait for 5 minutes and it's done.

Prepare the salad that you like and enjoy the meal.
