Legumes and Potato Soup

 Ingredients:

  •  Legumes
  • Potatoes
  • Rice (optional)
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Parsley (optional)
  • Olive oil and sunflower oil
  • Gourmet seasoning
  • Black pepper

 Preparation:

  •  If you have young potatoes, just wash them. If you have older potatoes you'll need to peel them off and then cut them into small pieces.
  • For this meal I used fresh legumes, not the frozen one. I just have to wash them and cut them into small pieces.
  • Cutting onion and garlic as well.
  • Take the pot and put it on the stove and let it heat up for couple of minutes and then adding olive and sunflower oil to it. This is optional, you can use only olive oil or sunflower oil.
  • When the oil is heated, just add onion, garlic and legumes to it and mix it up for 4-5 minutes.
  • After that add cold water to it, potatoes, parsley, pepper and one little spoon of gourmet seasoning (you can always add more later.)
  • The thing that I've added is one table spoon of rice, but this is totally optional, if you like to you can add it as well.
  • Leave it on the high heat until water starts to boil, then move the heat down to a medium. Put the cover on and let it cook for 25 minutes.
  • After the 25 minutes taste to see are the legumes and potatoes cocked, add seasoning if needed. If it's not cocked enough just leave it 5 more minutes and check again, it should be done.
  • This is it, serve it.

Enjoy your meal!
