Chicken Paprikash
- Chicken breasts
- Potatoes
- Tomato
- Ground Red pepper
- Olive oil
- Gourmet seasoning
- Parsley
- Black pepper
Preparation:
- You'll need hot water, so before anything let the water heat up first.
- Prepare the potatoes by peeling them of and cutting them into small pieces.
- Take your chicken breasts and cut them into small pieces as well.
- Take your tomato and peel it of, you can't have the skin on the tomato. When you peel the tomato just cut it to a small pieces and leave in the bowl.
- Take your pan and put it on the stove and let it heat up, after couple of minutes add the olive oil to it and let the oil heat up, it needs to be hot.
- When the oil is heated add the chicken breast, but don't cover the pan. This will take 4-5 minutes, you don't need to over do it, but it does depends on how thick is your chicken.
- Add potatoes, parsley and tomato in the pan and season it with gourmet and pepper. Don't put too much of gourmet seasoning, it can be added later, a little spoon will be enough.
- Add hot water to it, don't put too much water, just enough to have meat and potatoes sink in, this will be just fine. Potatoes will release water as well.
- Bring the heat down to a medium, cover it and let it cook for 15-20 minutes. Depends if the potatoes are cocked, but you will try it and know it.
- Move the pot on the side and use small one, bring the heat up add an olive oil to it and let it heat up. After that just remove the pot and put one little spoon of ground red pepper and mix it, don't let it burn. Do this for very short time, 20-30 seconds is enough.
- Bring the heat down to a medium and put the old pot with chicken and potatoes back on it. Pour the mix of olive oil and red pepper in it.
- Try to see if you need to season it more if you don't think it's salty enough. Leave it for 5 more minutes and the dish it's done.
Enjoy the meal!
