Chicken Breasts with Rice Soup

This is simple recipe, time for preparation will depend on which rice you're using. I was using brown rice for this recipe and it took me a bit longer to cook.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken breasts
  • Rice
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Gourmet seasoning
  • Olive oil (or sunflower oil, it's up to you)
  • Parsley (optional)
  • Ground ginger (optional)

Preparation:

  •  Cut the chicken breasts in little pieces, same for onion and garlic.
  • Put the pot onto the stove and let it heat up for couple of minutes, after that add olive oil and let the oil heat up as well.
  • When the oil is heated just add onion, garlic and chicken breasts and mix it for a minute or two. You just want to chicken to turn white, it doesn't take long.
  • After that just add water and rice as well. Add rice how much you can eat, I don't measure it because I know how much it's enough to me. That's something I've learned over time.
  • Add gourmet seasoning, parsley and ground ginger. You don't have to season it much, you can always add more at the end if you don't feel it's salty enough.
  • Wait until the water starts to boil and then put the heat down to a medium or slightly above medium, put the cover on and let it boil.
  • Because I used brown rice and it took her more time to cook, this recipe was done in around 25 minutes. If you're using regular white rice, she boils quickly, and you might get this recipe done in 15-20 minutes. This also depends on your quantity, I made all these recipes just for myself.
 Enjoy your meal!
