Chicken Breast, Legume and Peas Soup

 

Ingredients:

  • Chicken breasts
  • Legumes (I've bought the frozen ones)
  • Peas (I've bought the frozen ones)
  • Gourmet seasoning
  • Black pepper
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Parsley
  • Carrot
  • Olive oil

Preparation:

  • If you bought legumes and peas frozen, you need to unfroze them first.
  • Take the chicken breasts and cut them into small pieces.
  • Now take the onion, carrot and garlic and cut it as well.
  • Put your pot on the high heat and let it heat up, after it's heated put the olive oil in it.
  • After the oil is heated, put the garlic, onion, carrot and chicken breast into to pot and mix it for around 4-5 minutes.
  • Add the cold water into the pot and put the legumes an peas in as well.
  • Add parsley, black pepper and gourmet seasoning. Don't add much of gourmet seasoning, a little spoon in enough, you can always add more later.
  • When the water starts to boil put the heat on the medium and leave it like that for around 20-25 minutes.
  • After 20-25 minutes taste it and see if it's cocked, if it's not leave it like that for 5 more minutes, but it should be cocked nicely. Add more seasoning if it's not salty enough.
